Workshop on Spatial Stochastic Models for Wireless Networks (SpaSWiN)
October 21-24, 2024, Seoul, South Korea
The spatial configuration of nodes in a wireless network is a critical determinant of its performance. As a result, the modeling of such networks requires a comprehensive approach that incorporates the stochastic features of the spatial elements. To achieve this, techniques from stochastic geometry, random graph theory, information and communication theory, network theory, combinatorics, optimization, and game theory are utilized, making this field highly interdisciplinary. SpaSWiN is the premier workshop dedicated to exploring the use of stochastic spatial models in wireless networks. Building upon the success of past events, the aim of SpaSWiN 2024 is to bring together experts from various disciplines and foster a dynamic exchange of innovative ideas. Please join us in Seoul on October 21, 2024, for this exciting event.
Call for Papers
The technical program committee is inviting submissions that utilize spatial stochastic models - including, but not limited to, point processes, stochastic geometry, discrete and continuum percolation, and random graphs - to design and analyze wireless networks. All aspects and technologies of wireless networking will be considered, including ad hoc, cellular, mesh, sensor, mobile, heterogeneous, and non terrestrial networks, as well as analysis for coverage, connectivity, capacity, delay, and age of information. In addition, distributed routing and scheduling protocols/algorithms, network information theory, power and topology control, and mobility models are of interest to the workshop.

Submission Guidelines
Information to authors: https://wiopt24.github.io/cfp.html
The submitted and published versions of papers are limited to eight (8) pages in the standard IEEE conference format. Submitted papers should be of sufficient detail to be evaluated by expert reviewers in the field. If full proofs cannot be accommodated due to space limitations, authors are encouraged to cite a publicly accessible long version of the submission that may be considered in the review.
